Friends Raising Funds: Planned Giving

Support for the Library comes in many forms, but perhaps the most lasting is a Legacy Gift through your will or other estate plans.  Gifts such as these have been critical to Friends' ability to support the future of the San Francisco Public Library.

There are a variety of ways you can make a charitable planned gift. The simplest way is to make one through your will or living trust. Gifts can be made outright at the time of your death or after you make provisions for your spouse or other loved ones. Other more complex gifts such as charitable remainder trusts may even offer you income during your lifetime and estate tax benefits.

Bequests and planned gifts are a vital source of future income for Friends, assuring our ability to support library programs for future generations.

Please contact us at 415-626-7500 for more information on how you can support the San Francisco Public Library through a planned gift.
