Friends Helping Friends
Our volunteers are some of our best friends. Each
week, over 150 dedicated individuals volunteer for
Friends. A few of them have been with us for over forty
years. They love what they do and they love their public
library.

Here are a few of our volunteer opportunities available:
Book
Bay Bookstores
Assist our staff by working in one of our
two bookstores. Volunteers
are trained to use a computer cash register. |
| |
Book Sales
Volunteer at our Annual
Big Book Sale (sign-up .doc form) at Fort Mason in the fall. Outdoor sales
are also held on the steps of the Main Library
the first Friday of the month (April – October).
Volunteers set up and staff the sales. Free books
to volunteers at the end of all book sales!
